BLTSRC TOPS THE TABLE IN REGIONAL THRILLER
The job is done. The group is won. Berkhamsted Lawn Tennis & Squash Rackets Club (BLTSRC) has officially conquered the regional division of the National Premier League competition, punching Clubโs ticket to the Finals in style.
After that massive statement win at Queens on February 8th, we` knew a result against Windsor would seal our spot at the top. Windsor showed up riding a three-match win streak, but BLTSRC Menโs teams turned up the heat and absolutely blew the doors off the ITC.
The Scoreboard: Absolute Dominance
BLTSRC squad didn’t just win; they delivered a statement. Windsor managed only 8 games the entire day as we cruised to an absolute 4-0 sets victory!
- Josh Sapwell & Josh Rose: Pure chemistry. They dismantled their opponents 6-3, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-3
- Patrick & Conor Brady: Total lockdown. A “double bagel” 6-0, 6-0 followed by a 6-0, 6-1 masterclass.
๐ The Standings
Played 7 matches, won 6. BLTSRC only stumble was a narrow battle against a Dan Evans-led Stoke Poges, but that consistency is exactly why they finished top of the group.
